Pier 24

reviving san francisco's historic waterfront

Representing another example of the historic rehabilitation of San Francisco’s waterfront, the centrally located Pier 24 shed its derelict past to become a light-filled, contemplative space for the photography collection of The Pilara Foundation. Owing to its extensive experience working with numerous waterfront agencies, including the Port of San Francisco, BDCD and State Lands, Pacific Waterfront Partners shepherded the development of Pier 24, managing lease negotiations with the Port, design development, permitting and construction. Today, Pier 24 sits perched over the Bay with the Bay Bridge spanning overhead, inviting visitors in to appreciate art and space equally.
